Rebecca Ferguson's 'Superwoman' shoots to No. 6 in iTunes Chart

Rebecca Ferguson is currently No. 6 in the iTunes Albums Chart with 'Superwoman' just 24 hours after its release yesterday (October 14).

The soul songstress appeared on BBC Breakfast earlier this morning (October 15) and will be at Jeremy Joseph's legendary G-A-Y night in London's gay club Heaven tonight.

On Monday (October 17), Rebecca is also set to perform in front of the British Olympian team in Manchester and told BBC Breakfast that she may perform her album title track, 'Superwoman'.

Pressparty met up with the singer-songwriter a couple of weeks ago to chat about her new album, running through it track-by-track. In our exclusive interview, which you can take a mosey at here, it's clear the emotional journey Rebecca's gone through, has resulted in her fourth album being championed by industry and fans alike.

Of the title track, Rebecca said: "I’m not singing songs to pretend life is easy. I want you to imagine a single mother. She’s just got to work. She’s got a phone call from school saying ‘your kid’s sick’. She’s got to get back all the way to the other side of the city to pick up her kid.

"That’s who you’re writing this song about. It’s that woman who’s at breaking point and is doing it alone."

Rebecca Ferguson will commence a long awaited 16-date UK tour on October 23, and like many of her fans, Pressparty can't wait, but be quick to book your tickets as this is a show you won't want to miss!

The music star is also a guest tonight on ITV's Jonathan Ross Show at 10pm.
