Rebecca Ferguson: "I think I've got a dance album in me"

Rebecca Ferguson has revealed that she wants to start writing dance music, but not for herself - for other artists.

The singer is perhaps best known for her deep, sultry soul singing - but the former X Factor contestant told the Daily Star that she's big on dance too.

And she revealed that she has been sent music from label EMI to work on. She said:

"I like dance music a lot. I think I've got a dance album in me. I've just been sent some songs by EMI that they want me to work on. So I'm writing some dance music on the road - not for me but for other artists."

Ferguson also revealed David Guetta as her dance inspiration - and even suggested that the pair should collaborate in the future. She added:

"I've been a fan of his since back in the day. I love the song Titanium. There will be a time for me to do dance music like that but not now. But I would love to do vocals on a dance tune so maybe I should give David a call soon."
