Rebecca Ferguson performs on Britain's Got Talent despite broken leg

Rebecca Ferguson performed on Britain's Got Talent last night (May 10) despite suffering from a broken leg.

Her appearance on the show, which saw her sing with her leg rested on a stool, came despite seemingly being signed off work for six weeks by doctors.

The X Factor star took to Twitter on Monday (May 7) to say she had broken her leg, before later tweeting:

"Docs signed me off work for 6 weeks but I might have to be a little rebel can't miss @AlanCarr can I xx."

However, she performed her new single on Britain's Got Talent last night, revealing to hosts Ant and Dec that she had broken it on a night out.

She said: "I had a bit of a night out and fell over. I broke my leg."

Ferguson meanwhile had previously posted a photo on Twitter of herself and her friends on her night out - before breaking her leg.
