Red Hot Chili Peppers celebrate a No.1 album with 'I'm With You'

Red Hot Chili Peppers are celebrating the success of a UK No.1 album tonight as their new record, 'I'm With You', secures its position at the top.

The album did extremely well in the midweek update and has managed to hold off competition from David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat', which is at No.2, and Will Young's previously chart-topping new offering 'Echoes', which has fallen 2 places to No.3.

There are 3 other new entries in the Top Ten this evening (September 4) from Bombay Bicycle Club with 'A Different Kind of Fix' at No.6, Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV' at No.8 and Dolly Parton's 'Better Day' at No.9.

Elbow had the highest climber in this week's chart as their latest record, 'Build A Rocket Boys!', has gone up 8 positions to No.31.
