“The latest track is more scaled back with just a muted guitar melody and stomping rhythm, but it allows the songwriter to showcase his ability to blend mature themes with a folk-pop twist.”Billboard

NEW YORK, NY (October 20th, 2017) – Noah Kahan has just released a live acoustic video for his new single, “Hurt Somebody”. The song, which was produced by Joel Little (Lorde, Khalid) and racked up over a Million streams globally in its first week, is about the paralyzing fear of not being able to cut loose ends, and how painful the process can often be. The acoustic video was filmed in a forest near Noah’s home in Stratford, Vermont before he set out on tour with the Strumbellas earlier this month - he’ll be on the road with them well into November, a full list of dates can be found here HERE.

Noah’s ascension from the small town of 1000 people began earlier this year after connecting with Lorde and Khalid’s producer Joel Little who produced Noah’s debut single, “Young Blood”. “Young Blood” debuted at #5 on Spotify's US Viral Chart and has since surpassed 15 Million streams. Noah hit the road this spring supporting Milky Chance on their sold-out U.S. Tour and went on to perform sold-out shows with Ben Folds in March as well as Anderson East later in May. Noah recently released his new single “Hurt Somebody” which had over 1 Million global streams in the week of release – very impressive in comparison to the first week streams of illustrious artists like Arcade Fire (547k), Vance Joy (669k), The Killers (845k), and Beck (763k)will be releasing more music this fall and heading out on tour in October with The Strumbellas – see a complete list of Noah’s upcoming tour dates HERE.

“Noah Kahan has one of the voices, like Angel Olsen, in which it sounds like his heart is singing rather than his mouth.” - Audio Fuzz
