Rihanna was the night's big winner at this year's iHeart Radio Music Awards.

The music awards bash was held on Thursday (May 1) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

'Stay' star Rihanna bagged a total of four gongs - Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Fan Army and Hip-Hop/R&B Song of the Year.

When collecting the Artist prize, Rihanna quipped: "I know I’m a big pain in the ass, but it’s worth it, because we got the biggest award of the night."

Other winners included Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' (Best Lyrics), Lorde (Best New Artist) and Pitbull and Kesha (Best Collaboration).

Pharrell Williams meanwhile, who performed on the night, bagged the iHeart Radio Innovator Award.
