Rihanna on acting: 'It's really intimidating and scary'

Songstress Rihanna has opened up about moving away from music into acting and confessed that it makes her nervous, but she loves it.

During an interview with ITV's Lorraine, the Bajan beauty admitted that acting is a challenge because it's still something that's relatively new to her, but she loves pushing herself and wants to keep taking on exciting new opportunities in the film world:

"As a musician I feel a lot more confident in that, acting is just so new. I have so much respect for actors and it definitely is very intimidating to be amongst them and it's scary, acting is scary. Even when I was doing (Home) I felt like there is so much to learn. Your voice can really dictate a lot. I think as long as I work at it I don't see why I wouldn't do film. I've had very fun experiences so far."

Rihanna, meanwhile, voices a character in the new DreamWorks animated movie 'Home'and she admitted that she loves the sassiness of the character named Tip:

"She definitely reminds me of myself. She's sassy, she's fearless but she's very adventurous. She's brave enough go out on that adventure. And she's determined to get what she wants. In this case she's determined to find her mother."
