Rihanna has told fans to expect her next album imminently.

The singer confirmed on Monday (January 25) that her eighth record 'Anti' was finished.

In a new direct message on Twitter with a fan, the Barbados star confirmed that the album should drop "super soon".

Rihanna will promote her long-awaited eighth album on the road this year.

She will bring her Anti world tour to cities across the globe from February to August.

The album meanwhile will act as the follow-up to 2012's 'Unapologetic'.

That record spawned singles such as 'Diamonds' and 'Stay'.
