Rihanna has been lined up to voice act in an upcoming animated film.

Billboard reports that the singer will appear in the DreamWorks movie Happy Smekday!.

Rihanna and Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons will provide the lead voices for the film, which is an adaptation of the book The True Meaning of Smekday.

It will build on Rihanna's fledgling film career, with the singer previously appearing in the flick Battleship alongside the likes of Liam Neeson.

As previously reported, Rihanna has recently been revealed as the latest big name celebrity interview to be conducted by Oprah Winfrey, with a US air date of August this year.
