Rihanna has been named this year's Queen of West Hollywood.

The singer had the honour bestowed upon her at the city's Halloween carnival on Wednesday (October 31).

She was presented with a tiara and a key to the Californian city by the mayor of West Hollywood.

Rihanna, who attended the event with her mother Monica Braithwaite, wore a classy black dress and looked happy to receive the honour.

As previously reported, Rihanna has announced a special week-long tour that will see her play seven shows in seven days in seven countries.

She will fly to the shows in a Boeing 777 with fans and journalists as she prepares for the release of her seventh studio album 'Unapologetic'.
