Rihanna love song named by Jay-Z

Rihanna's ' Loveeeeeee Song' was given six extra 'e's' by mentor Jay-Z.

The heartfelt track is from the international singer's seventh studio album 'Unapologetic' and is a collaboration between Rihanna and rapper Future.

The song was given the specific spelling by rap sensation Jay-Z as he felt he wanted to weigh in on such a great track.

Future told MTV News: "It was 'Love and Affection' [originally]. Jay-Z heard it and felt like he wanted to be a part of it and named it with the seven E's at the end. It was amazing."

Future also revealed how the track ended up on Rihanna's radar.

He said of the star's team: "They wanted a more uptempo record, so I sent four or five records, and I left the last record. It was more like a ballad, and I left it.

"It was a record that I didn't spend that much time on either. Less thought, [so] it was more natural."

Rihanna recently finished up her ambitious 777 tour which saw her fly on a private Boeing jet from Mexico City, to Los Angeles, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and finally, New York (November 20) in support of her forthcoming new album.

Over 200 journalists and fans followed the hitmaker on her travels and many have complained about the lack of access to the star.

Rihanna issued an apology to US Weekly: “I know you guys got barely any dirt. But I had to be good. I still sound like s***. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't."
