Rihanna's new album goes in at No.1 during the midweek update

It's been quite a week for Rihanna with her '777' tour and she has even more reason to celebrate now because her new record has been named the UK's No.1 this afternoon (November 21).

The Bajan sensation has topped the albums chart during today's midweek update with 'Unapologetic' and if it maintains its lead until Sunday, it will be Rihanna's fourth UK No.1 album following in the footsteps of 'Loud', 'Talk That Talk' and 'Good Girl Gone Bad'.

Little Mix's 'DNA' has entered at No.4, Susan Boyle is right behind at 5 with her 'Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs', and Example's new 'The Evolution of Man' has made an appearance at 7.

Meanwhile, Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' has re-entered and is now at No.6, Rita Ora's debut effort 'Ora' has climbed 7 places to No.19, and Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' has dropped 13 to 21.
