International songstress Rihanna has tweeted a topless photo of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on a bed - further fuelling rumours the pair are rekindling their romance.

Rihanna posted the candid picture via Instagram and accompanied it with the caption: "Dis n**ga....... #BartObsessed (sic)," referring to the Simpson character memorabilia surrounding Brown.

Even though his face was buried into the bed, Brown was easily identifiable because of his recognisable tattoos.

The R&B star had earlier posted a photograph of himself sporting the Simpson-themed attire.

The former couple have been the subject of intense speculation of late - sparking rumours they have reconciled following their split in 2009.

The chart-topping artists have collaborated on songs together and were also rumoured to have spent the recent Thanksgiving holiday together.

Rihanna was spotted supporting Brown on his Carpe Diem tour in Berlin on Thursday (November 22) after wrapping up on her own 777 Tour which saw her perform in seven countries over seven days.

Rihanna is currently in the UK preparing for her performance on The X Factor tonight.
