'Umbrella' hitmaker Rihanna has revealed that she thinks Brits are the most trendy and fashion-forward.

The songstress has designed a clothing line for high street retailer River Island and will debut the collection during London Fashion Week in February, and has confessed her love for UK style in a promotional video for her range:

"British High Street has the most fashionable kids and people. I feel like the high-end desingers are inspired by these kids.”

Her designs will be in store from March 5 and speaking about the project's London Fashion Week launch, she explained:

“Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!”
