Rihanna to Record with JLS this Year

American R&B star, Rihanna, has revealed that she is to team up with the boy band JLS for a forthcoming single.

The chart-topping star, who has previously voiced her admiration for band member Marvin Humes, will join the group for a new project which is being masterminded by Jay-Z. The rapper is keen to help JLS pursue their US ambitions and also wants to link them up with wife Beyoncé and friend Kanye West.

Rihanna has revealed "Working with JLS is something that will happen this year. Jay will make stars out of them. He has been a great mentor to me. He has been around long enough to spot real talent and he knows who will become worldwide stars." She added, "I will be working with them on one of their singles and am sure Kanye and Bey will collaborate with them on tracks as well. America has only had a little taste of them so far, but give it probably as little as 18 months and they could be the most famous band in the world."
