Bajan beauty Rihanna has shared exclusive images of the items that make up her forthcoming autumn/winter 2013 clothing range for River Island.

Co-designer Adam Selman recently revealed that her new collection was inspired by a "slightly athletic/sporty vibe" although the clothing still carries the same urban appeal as her debut line.

Selman has now opened up about the project to Vogue and explained: "The way I approach winter style is to layer up summer clothes and Rihanna does the same. But there are coats and sweatshirts - those pieces were key. It's a little more refined."

In a new video, Rihanna confessed that she "literally designed everything I wanted to wear" and added that the theme for the promotional photos was a "New York street vibe".
