Rita Ora initially thought Calvin Harris collaboration would be "cheesy"

Rita Ora has admitted that she had doubts about working with her boyfriend Calvin Harris.

The Scottish hitmaker is credited with producing Ora's new single 'I Will Never Let You Down', which will be released on May 11.

However, she told Kiis 1065 that she originally thought teaming up with her partner would be "cheesy".

The singer said: "We thought we can't do this, it's just cheesy. It actually turned out really great...It's about love, what it stands for and I love that it's a love song you can dance to. It feels good to me."

The radio station's hosts Kyle and Jackie O meanwhile tried to pry Ora open in relation to her former boyfriend, Rob Kardashian.

However, the 'Hot Right Now' lady remain tight-lipped. She joked: "I've got no idea what or who you're talking about."

Ora later said: "Onwards and upwards guys. Honestly, there's a place and time for everything and people change and evolve. I think time will tell really and you've just got to keep the train moving forward."
