Rita Ora broken her silence after stripping Zac Efron topless in front of the world.

The British singer turned heads at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (April 13) during her presenting slot on stage.

Actor Zac Efron collected the Best Shirtless Performance prize at the ceremony before Ora unbuttoned his shirt, which he later took off.

Speaking on Twitter after the incident, the singer said: "Oh yeah this happened....it's ok you guys can thank me later! Thank you MTV for such a funny evening! lol #lovebeingsilly."

Ora added to MTV: "It was warm, soft, tender, like a chicken's thigh. I think I'm going to get a few tweets, like 'Thank God somebody had common sense'. But when you have a speech like that you can't really just have a speech. You have to take your top off."

Referring to the nature of his award, Efron commented: "There's no real speech you can give for that. I feel like I actually got helped out. I think she helped me out."
