Rita Ora considered calling new album 'Hymen'

Rita Ora has revealed that she thought about calling her next album 'Hymen'.

The singer has been busy working on the follow-up to her 2012 debut 'Ora', but no title or release date has been confirmed.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Brit said that she considered calling the record after the Greek god of marriage ceremonies - but she eventually canned it due to its links to female genitalia.

Ora said: "I looked at calling it 'Hymen', that’s a good one but probably not the best. It will be named after a love goddess but not Aphrodite or Venus, you’ll have to wait and see."

Talking meanwhile about the progress of the album, the chart-topper said:

"It’s not finished yet. I keep going back and forth. I started it around Glastonbury last year. I find I have to go in there and rumble through the dirt before I find the gold, so I’ll just keep going. It won’t be finished until I have to send it off to the factory."
