Rita Ora says long-distance aspect to Calvin Harris relationship makes her "sad"

Rita Ora has admitted that she is frustrated by the long-distance part of her relationship with Calvin Harris.

The celebrity duo have extremely busy schedules and as a result they often are in different parts of the world.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 'I Will Never Let You Down' star said that she often has to fly for hours to see the Scottish hitmaker.

Ora said: "You have to fly each other out, you just have to. Sometimes you fly for 20 hours, sometimes you only fly for five hours. It's an effort, but you make it work.

"I'm not a fan of long-distance relationships. If you had a choice, you want that person with you. It makes me pretty sad. But you work with what you've got."

Both acts meanwhile are due to perform at this weekend's BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in Glasgow.
