It has been confirmed that Rita Ora and Calvin Harris have ended their relationship.

The ‘Summer’ DJ confirmed that the pair split a while ago via a tweet.

Calvin wrote yesterday (June 6): “To address speculation, myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”

Rita Ora is yet to comment.

She had stated in a recent interview that she struggled with the long-distance aspect of her relationship with the chart-topping Scotsman.

Rita said: “I'm not a fan of long-distance relationships. If you had a choice, you want that person with you. It makes me pretty sad.”

Calvin Harris and the ‘R.I.P.’ singer began dating in May 2013 and worked together on Rita’s latest No. 1 single, ‘I Will Never Let You Down’.
