Rita Ora confirms Oscars performance: 'I am so excited'

'Shine Ya Light' songstress Rita Ora has confirmed that she will be performing live at the 2015 upcoming Oscars.

The beauty took to her official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (January 28) and explained that she can't wait to sing at the event, which is due to take place on February 22 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood:

"I’m excited to announce @TheAcademy invited me to perform on the #Oscars on Feb 22nd!"

Ora's song 'Grateful', which features on the soundtrack for the movie 'Beyond The Lights', is nominated for the Best Original Song prize and she will go head-to-head with the likes of Tegan and Sara ('Everything Is Awesome'), John Legend and Common ('Glory') and Adam Levine ('Lost Stars') for the gong.
