Rita Ora on fame: 'I've truly learned who my real friends are'

Hitmaker Rita Ora has revealed that becoming famous has changed the way people treat her.

During an interview with Australia's GQ magazine, the beauty explained that her rise to fame has shown her who are true friends and who are just along for the ride - and for the perks:

"It's been mental. Not that I'm complaining, but you start seeing things around you change, and people you've known for years begin acting weird. You find out who your real friends are."

The 'I Will Never Let You Down' songstress went onto add that she never retaliates to this behaviour because her parents taught her better than that: "I have an amazing background. My mum and dad are so moral-driven that there's no way I'd take a left turn. It's about being disciplined."

Ora, meanwhile, has been confirmed to perform at this year's Oscars ceremony on February 22 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Her song 'Grateful', which features on the soundtrack for the movie 'Beyond The Lights', is nominated for the Best Original Song prize at the event.
