Rita Ora on being blunt: 'I'd rather not answer something than tell a lie'

Songstress Rita Ora has opened up about coming across as a harsh or difficult person and confessed that she isn't about to be bossed around or controlled so often has to fight for control.

During a new interview with Clash magazine, on which she also graces the cover (pictured left), the beauty explained that she won't compromise on what she wants and if it means she has to be a little tough to get it, then so be it: "There's a way of being an arsehole and there's a way of standing for your artistic integrity: that's two different arseholes, you see what I mean?"

"You're not being an arsehole to someone personally - I mean, obviously there's a way you speak to people always."

The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker went onto add that she is completely true to herself in all situations and is not the kind of person to sugarcoat the truth:

"I've always put out the truth. I'm a very honest person. The way I dress is really who I am, the way I say things is how I am, my videos, my interviews… I'm real honest. I don't sugarcoat anything. If I'm not going to be honest then I won't answer the question. I'd rather not answer something than tell a lie. I don't think I'm misinterpreted."
