Rita Ora praises Madonna for tackling ageism in the music industry

'Shine Ya Light' songstress Rita Ora has publicly thanked the Queen of Pop for tackling the issue of ageism in the music industry by constantly challenging and bringing up the subject in her interviews.

The beauty posted a photograph of Madonna to her official Instagram page (pictured below) and accompanied it with a caption praising her for being so bold and willing to 'pave the way': "Thank you for fighting all these ageist battles and paving a way that just maybe one day all of us "younger" artists won't have to in the future! @madonna #if**kinlovethisbitch #thatswhatlegendsdo."

Ora, meanwhile, recently told Clash magazine that she is always very honest in her own interviews and would sooner refuse to answer a question than give an answer she didn't fully believe in:

"I've always put out the truth. I'm a very honest person. The way I dress is really who I am, the way I say things is how I am, my videos, my interviews… I'm real honest. I don't sugarcoat anything. If I'm not going to be honest then I won't answer the question. I'd rather not answer something than tell a lie. I don't think I'm misinterpreted."
