Hitmaker Rita Ora has dated some high profile guys, including Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and Ricky Hill, and she has now revealed that she plans to write songs about her dating adventures for her next record. 

Speaking to The Sun about her new material, the 'Shine Ya Light' beauty explained that she will be very open about personal experiences including the relationships she has been in:

"I wanted to reference things that happened to me. You're gonna see me complaining about my s**tty love stories. People have seen I'm writing about controversial things, but they understand it's time."

Referring to the long break she's had between releasing her 2013 debut and being ready to unveil new music, she told Noisey: "I wanted it to have a presence and a meaning. I asked myself, 'What can I do to make something timeless, something I still want to perform in 10 years?' You can't please everybody but you've got to start pleasing yourself, and I wasn't doing that with my debut."
