Rita Ora: 'Females in pop music have never been closer'

Hitmaker Rita Ora has revealed that females in pop have "never been closer", despite the fact that Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have all exchanged heated words this week

Speaking to U.S. radio station Hot 97 this week, the 'Poison' songstress explained that women in pop really pull together and they have been even more motivated to empower each other lately:

"It's really about how we get judged for the things that we do and how men don't. I know it's part of society, but I think we can still stick together as females. And also, I feel like at the moment, females have never been closer - popstars, specifically. It's an exciting time for females in this industry."

Ora, meanwhile, is now working as a judge on 'The X Factor' and recently confessed that she is honoured to have been invited to be part of such a great show: "I can't wait to get started on The X Factor. You’ll have to watch it - it's going to be great though, it's going to be fun. The most important thing is we find talent and we have fun, that's all it is.”
