Robin Thicke on Twitter Q&A backlash: 'I'm a big boy, I can handle it'

Robin Thicke insists he had no problem with Twitter users turning a Q&A with the singer into a criticism of his personality.

The singer recently teamed up with VH1 to announce that he would be taking part in a question and answer session with fans on Twitter.

However, a multitude of tweets were sent in to insult the singer, who released his new album 'Paula' this week in dedication to his estranged wife.

Thicke went ahead with the Q&A and when asked about the online backlash, he said:

"I'm a big boy. I can handle it."

The singer was also asked why he couldn't let Paula Patton deal in peace with their marriage split, which took place earlier this year, with Thicke responding:

"If you listen to the album you wouldn't ask that question."
