Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' returns to the top of the singles chart

Robin Thicke’s former No. 1 track ‘Blurred Lines’ has returned to the top of the UK singles chart once again.

Prior to Thicke’s tune, featuring Pharrell Williams and T.I., being knocked down to No. 2 for two weeks, ‘Blurred Lines’ had already spent four consecutive weeks atop the chart and is now back at No. 1.

Last week’s chart topping song ‘Love Me Again’ by John Newman now sits at No. 2.

Elsewhere in the top ten Sebastian Ingrosso’s ‘Reload’ has shot into the chart at No. 3, Lawson are straight in at No. 6 with ‘Brokenhearted’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ has risen one place to No. 9.

Climbers in this week chart include Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Everything Has Changed’ up three to No. 12, Bruno Mars’ ‘Treasure’ also up three to No. 14, ‘Wake Me Up’ by Spark Productions up nine places to No. 26 and P!nk featuring Lily Allen on ‘True Love’ up 23 spots to No. 36.

New entries to the UK singles chart this week come from Iggy Azalea in at No.13 with ‘Bounce’, Katy B with ‘What Love Is Made Of’ at No. 21, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake with ‘Holy Grail’ at No. 24 and Sneakbo’s ‘Ring A Ling’ coming in at No. 27.
