Robin Thicke eager to return to the recording studio

Robin Thicke has revealed that he is keen to start work on a new album.

Although the ‘Blurred Lines’ chart topper released his sixth album less than a month ago he is already itching to record some new material and is excited to experiment with a variety of genres.

Speaking to Billboard Thicke explained: “I want to get right into the studio. I want to make a country album, a Christmas album, a gospel album.”

He enthused: “I'm ready to make four albums right now.”

The 36-year-old crooner also discussed his current LP, ‘Blurred Lines’, which recently gave him his first No. 1 album in America.

He stated: “I went into the album with all kinds things in my head like, ‘Why didn't my last album sell? How come?’ I guess I need to freshen it up. I need to take some chances. I need to do something new.”

On the runaway success he has experienced this year with his new sounds Thicke commented: “I did want to push the boundaries and work with some hitmakers to see if they could help me and luckily it all worked out.”
