Sam Smith has premiered his new music video online.

The singer is releasing 'Restart' as the latest track from his 2014 debut album 'In The Lonely Hour'.

Its video has now been uploaded to VEVO and it sees Smith reflect over the last year.

It sees a montage of shots and clips compiled into one longer video, with Smith at one point seen performing live.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the video, Smith said:

"'Restart' is one of my favourite tracks on the album and I really felt like I wanted to visualise it. I had such an amazing time putting this video together, remembering some incredible moments from this year and also a recent trip with my team to Brighton this summer."

Smith meanwhile was recently nominated for four MOBO Awards ahead of this year's ceremony on October 22.

He will vie for the Best Male, Best R&B/Soul, Best Album and Best Song ('Stay With Me') gongs.
