Sam Smith has dominated the nominations for this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The event is taking place on March 29 and today (February 4) the nominees were announced.

Smith has landed a total of five nominations, including Song of the Year ('Stay With Me'), Best New Artist and Best Lyrics ('Stay With Me').

He is also up for the Artist of the Year and Dance Song of the Year ('La La La') gongs.

Iggy Azalea meanwhile also has five nominations, whilst Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have four.

Fan voting for the Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics and Renegade awards will open on March 3.
