Sam Smith has admitted that celebrity parties aren't his thing.

The singer is due to attend the Grammys on Sunday (February 8) before hitting the Brits later in the month.

However, he told Entertainment Tonight that he feels celebrity after-parties are too "judgemental" for his liking.

Smith said: "I don't go to celebrity parties a lot. I don't really enjoy them, because I enjoy really going for it at parties.

"And sometimes at celebrity parties, there's no dancing on tables, because people could be a little judgemental at times. So I tend not to go...I end up in hotel rooms doing crazy things...Unless it's Taylor Swift's birthday party, then it's amazing."

The Brit attended Swift's birthday party in the US in December.
