Sam Smith reflects on Grammy success: 'I keep spontaneously crying'

Sam Smith has admitted that he keeps crying as a result of his big Grammys success.

The singer won a total of four prizes at the event on Sunday (February 8).

He bagged the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best New Artist gongs.

Speaking during a new interview with the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Smith revealed that he is still taken aback by his success.

The Brit said: "It's unreal. I genuinely didn't think this was going to happen. It's incredible.

"I keep spontaneously crying. I start crying in the shower this morning; I'm like oh my God. I went to the Grammys last year and I did the carpet and no one knew who I was...It's all very weird. My life's changed."

Smith released his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour' in 2014.
