Sam Smith returns to top of UK albums chart

Sam Smith is back at No.1 on the UK albums chart.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (February 11) that the singer's 2014 debut effort 'In The Lonely Hour' is sitting at No.1 on the midweek update.

The Brit is set to enjoy his sixth non-consecutive week at No.1 with the record following his four Grammy wins on Sunday (February 8).

However, Kodaline's new entry 'Coming Up For Air' is just 200 copies behind at No.2.

At No.3 on the midweek update is Ed Sheeran's 'x', whilst Peace's new effort 'Happy People follows at No.4.

Rounding off the chart's top five is George Ezra's 'Wanted on Voyage'.

Enjoying another Grammys boost meanwhile is Album of the Year winner Beck, whose 'Morning Phase' re-enters the chart at No.37.
