Sam Smith has revealed his shock at being immortalised in waxwork form.

The singer has been given the Madame Tussauds treatment at the company's San Francisco branch.

The Brit checked out the model on Monday (August 10) and it seems the 'Stay With Me' star is impressed.

Smith commented: "I can't actually believe that I'm going to be in Madame Tussauds. This is the ultimate 'pinch yourself' moment. 

"The process was so fascinating and I will never look at a wax figure in the same way again. Thank you Madame Tussauds, and hope you all have fun. Feel free to squeeze my wax bum!"

The singer gave a suit and a pair of shoes for the model.
