Sean Paul: 'The only difference between me years ago and me now is how hard I work'

'She Doesn't Mind' hitmaker Sean Paul has opened up about his fifth studio album, 'Tomahawk Technique', and explained that the only difference he's seen in himself over the years is how hard he works.

Speaking to Billboard, he admitted that he's had a fantastic career and it's great to release and tour a new record because it helps to get yourself back out there:

"Touring kind of helps get people aware you're back in the building, it's a month long tour of the states. Before this I've been touring Europe. Right about now it's time for the states to get to know me again."

Paul, who is set to play several concerts in India during early November, added that he has evolved as an artist because he now puts even more effort into what he does as an artist and performer:

"I think the major difference of the Sean Paul back in the day in 1998 to now, Sean Paul 2000, is I was a hard worker and now I'm a harder worker. I think that's all it really takes, basically, in anything you do. If you put in you must get out, and it's been a good ride."

He has also been nominated for the Best World Stage prize at the 2012 MTV EMAs and fans have until November 9 to vote for him to win.
