Songstress Selena Gomez has revealed that she's so proud of best friend Taylor Swift, who just released her highly anticipated new album '1989' today (October 27). 

The beauty shared a tile of photographs of herself hanging out with the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' superstar via Instagram this afternoon and accompanied the images with the following caption:

"From hotel room album listening parties, kitchen dance floor album listening parties to driving on the pch, windows down album listening parties. -The best part is we were the only ones there. Each time. So happy, honoured and proud to know you and your diaries. @taylorswift #1989 BUY IT!!! -now I'll listen live from drowning in my bed sheets."

Earlier this month, Gomez appeared on 'The Talk' chat show in America and shared some fantastic advice Swift had given to her: "Yeah, she was actually at my house the other day and I was talking about relationships and business, and she looked at me... she's so supportive... and said, 'Selena, if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room.'"

She concluded: "Taylor thinks I should be around people who will challenge me and I want to surround myself with those people. I repeat that to myself now."
