Selena Gomez signs record deal with Interscope

Selena Gomez has inked a deal with Interscope Records.

The singer revealed the news on Instagram over the weekend.

She posted alongside a photo of herself with a contract: "Guess who's officially an Interscope artist ☺️ #thisiswhatdreamsaremadeof."

Gomez's last album came in the shape of 2013's 'Stars Dance'.

She surprised fans by releasing the new song 'Heart Wants What It Wants' in November.

Speaking recently about her new project, Gomez said:

"I am so excited. There's a lot to celebrate and a lot to be thankful for. I'm excited - this is a good time for me. I've been watching the reaction [to her new single] and it's been unbelievable.

"I'll have adults coming up to me and talking about the song, it's incredible. When you release something that vulnerable and that honest, you never know what to expect [...] I was nervous about the timing of it all and where I'd be mentally. It's so real, you know?"
