Selena Gomez: 'I lost sight of the kind of person I wanted to be'Songstress Selena Gomez has opened up about how finding fame at a young age had a negative impact on her understanding of who she was. Speaking to OK! magazine's U.S. edition recently, the beauty confessed that she was so used to being directed and manipulated by others that she didn't know who she truly was, which warped her perception of herself and left her confused as to how she should live her life: "The hardest part [of having success at a young age] is knowing what you want and being true to your own instincts. You're listening to a lot of people telling you how you should behave, what you should wear, how sexy you should look. I started losing sight of the kind of person I wanted to be. Once I had a clearer idea of who I was, it made everything else a lot simpler." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
