Selena Gomez has suggested that there will be dark moments on her next album.

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her last full solo record, 2013's 'Stars Dance'.

After the release of the album, Gomez split from boyfriend Justin Bieber and entered a rehab facility.

Speaking to WWD, the singer said that her new music will reflect her tough times.

Gomez said: "I haven't released any music in two years, so it's really going to be me kind of showing my journey in the past two years, and there's a little darkness in it."

The US star meanwhile has teamed up with reported boyfriend Zedd on his new song 'I Want You To Know'.
