Superstar Selena Gomez has revealed that she's incredibly proud of Ariana Grande for the statement she made this week about belonging to nobody but herself. 

Grande told The Sun newspaper that she's sick of being defined by the men that she dates and wants to be respected and recognised for who she is as an artist and performer:

"I'm tired of needing to be linked to a guy. I'm not Big Sean's ex, I'm not Niall's possible girl. I'm Ariana Grande. If that's not enough, then don't talk to me! I'm on this feminist rampage at the moment. I'm me. I'm Ariana. Peace out."

Gomez took to her official Twitter page earlier today (June 11) and explained that she was full of love for Grande after reading her strong words: "Thank you @ArianaGrande for telling them you don't belong to nobody but you. Finally. Preach girl."
