Selena Gomez believes her looks only merit a "six or seven" out of ten.

The singer told Boston's 103.3 AMP TJ Show that she feels confident in her appearance on a rare good day.

However, the US star admitted that she feels she doesn't have much going for her on a normal day.

Gomez said: "I would say, like, [on] a premiere day, I would be a good nine.

"And then, on my every day, I feel like a six. Gosh, that sounds so bad. I feel like a six or a seven."

The 'Stars Dance' songstress also revealed her appreciation of comedian and actress Amy Schumer.

She said: "I am trying to finagle my way onto her show [Inside Amy Schumer], so, maybe that's how I'll find a way to work with her and be around. I'm a huge fan. I think she's amazing."
