Selena Gomez: 'I want people to talk about and dissect my music'

Selena Gomez has suggested that she just wants the public to talk about her music.

The singer is often in the tabloids due to her high-profile private life.

Speaking to Radio ahead of the release of new album 'Revival', the US star said she pushed herself on the record.

Gomez added that she hopes people "discuss" the tunes and explore the album's themes.

The singer said: "I think I’m nervous, but I kind of feel like a pregnant woman in her ninth month, I’m just ready to get the album out. It just needs to be out.

"When you push yourself, that’s when you get your best stuff. I’m excited for people to dissect it and explore it and see what they’re going to talk about. That’s what I want. I want them to talk about my music. I want them to talk about what I think about, what I sing about."

'Revival' meanwhile is slated for an October 9 release.
