Songstress Selena Gomez has revealed that she had complete creative control over her new album 'Revival', which is due to be unveiled on October 9. 

Speaking to MTV News recently, the beauty explained that she's really proud of how much input she has over her career nowadays and it really shows in the songs that make up her new record's tracklisting:

"I definitely remind myself that I’m in control."

"I feel like ultimately if I sit down and I think about a decision I need to make, it’s really within myself. I make the decision. Everything goes through me.”

The 'Good For You' superstar told Extra that she has a great fighting spirit, which comes across on 'Revival': "My songs on the record are survivors - Kill 'em with Kindness, Rise. It’s all geared towards me trying to be heard and I think this is the best thing that I’ve ever done in my whole career and I’m so excited."
