Superstar Selena Gomez has opened up about the commercial success of her new album 'Revival', which recently hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart in the USA, and confessed that it's "surreal". 

She told Ryan Seacrest that it's amazing to receive such a fantastic reception and her chart-topping record's achievement still hasn't really sunk in:

“This is the first time that I never read reviews or even checked about numbers. I kind of released the record and I knew that I couldn’t take any of it back. I was very nervous because it was all of me. ‘Good For You‘ was even the biggest surprise for me personally because I didn’t think it would do that well. I don’t think I’m enjoying it as much as I should be because I still think it’s kind of surreal.” 

Gomez, meanwhile, recently opened up about her favourite track on the record ‘Kill ‘Em With Kindness': “You have to wake up with yourself every morning, and people are going to give you their worst, and it’s so easy to be mean. I’m Latin; I can be mean, real fast, if I want. But I don’t feel good about myself, and I think people need to hear a message like this.”
