Earlier this week, it was revealed that Selena Gomez now has the most-liked photograph on Instagram and she has spoken out about her gorgeous use of the visual app in a new interview. 

Chatting to The Hollywood Reporter about having 89.3 million followers on the social media platform, the 'Come & Get It' sensation admitted that she didn't set out to amass such an audience and, instead, it just happened naturally:

"It comes in a moment when I capture something happening, and I go, 'Oh, that would be great for Instagram. I should post it.' I know it's boring, but that's genuinely what I do. It wasn't my goal to be the most followed person. It's my favourite social platform."

"I'm not sure there's a method to my madness. I go, 'Oh, that would be great for Instagram.' I try to find a good balance of just being 100 percent myself and knowing when to post a really good selfie with good lighting."
