	  <title><![CDATA[Selena Gomez reassures fans following 'scary' earthquake encounter]]></title>
	  <description><![CDATA[<p>Former Disney starlet<a href="/pg/newsdesk/selenagomez"> Selena Gomez </a>has reassured fans of her wellbeing after being caught up in an earthquake in Bulgaria.</p>
<p>The 'Who Says' singer and actress was in the country's capital, Sofia, filming scenes for her upcoming new movie 'The Getaway' when a 5.8 magnitude tremor shook the streets, but she took to social networking site Twitter earlier this afternoon (May 22) and told her followers that although it was a frightening experience she is fine:</p>
<p>"Thank you for all of your concerns!! Earthquake was scary but thankfull everyone is ok. Praying for Italy."</p>
<p>Yesterday, May 21, <a href="/pg/newsdesk/selenagomez">Gomez</a> explained that she has nearly finished shooting her parts of the movie and tweeted: "Last week of filming then back home. :)"</p>
