Selena Gomez has publicly stated that she is free and single and revealed that she made former boyfriend Justin Bieber cry.

The celebrity pair dated for a number of months, but reports of their breakup emanated late last year.

There had been little official confirmation of their split but Selena Gomez confirmed the news whilst being interviewed by David Letterman last night (March 18).

When their relationship was mentioned by the talk show host, Gomez said: "No, I'm single. I'm so good."

Letterman later said: "Now, the last time he was on, he and I got into a conversation and he said something and I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry."

To which Gomez replied: "Well then, that makes two of us."

As previously reported, the actress and singer recently revealed that she isn't looking to take on another boyfriend at the moment.
