Selena Gomez on fame: 'I still drive the car I had when I was 16'

Pop songstress and 'Spring Breakers' star Selena Gomez has admitted that while she is internationally famous, being known and adored isn't something that will ever change her.

During an interview with thestar.com, the beauty confessed that fame hasn't altered any aspects of her personality at all and she will never let it impact who she is:

"I'm super laid back. I'm from Texas. I love my family. I still live with my parents. I drive the same car that I've driven since I was 16. That's who I am."

The 'Come And Get It' hitmaker also admitted that performing is something that consistently makes her happy so she will continue on with her music career for as long as she can: "As a performer, I just love to make people smile. I just love to make people move and dance. There's not really much more to it."

Last night (July 7), Gomez tweeted a message to her fans to let them know that she is busy rehearsing for her new tour: "Just learned my 7th dance for Stars Dance Tour, about 7 more to go. R U ready to dance... Who's coming? #StarsDanceTour #16daystoalbum!!!"
